The Directorate-General for Public Procurement

The Directorate-General for Public Procurement (hereinafter: KEF) is a budgetary organ subordinated to the Minister of Finance, which fulfils the tasks related to the operation of central purchasing as the central logistics entity of the Government and as central purchasing body proceeding with general competence.

Within the framework of central purchasing, KEF implements institutional procurements among others in terms of furniture, paper products, office supplies, vehicles, fuel, international travel organisation, consumable medical devices and medical devices, furthermore, the related services, medicine and energy.

By concluding framework agreements and setting up the dynamic purchasing system, KEF ensures the continuous supply of the entities (organisations subordinated to the Government and institutions entitled to join the system), by complying the requirements of predictability, transparency and the effective usage of public funds.

KEF also acts as a coordinating body concerning the procurement of clean vehicles.
